The new range starts from Rs 70,990 and offers all the latest hardware to provide the best gaming experience. The Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop is the entry-level model in HP’s lineup designed for those who want an enjoyable gaming experience without spending much on the computer. Buyers can spec up the Pavilion Gaming 15 with up to latest 9th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. For GPU, users can opt for the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card with the Max-Q architecture.

The OMEN series of laptops cater to the hardcore gamer with the best of specifications. The OMEN 15 and OMEN X 2S 15 are the latest models with an option to spec it up with all the latest top-of-line components. Buyers can spec up these models with up to latest 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processor powered by up to 5GHz Turbo, eight cores and 16 threads. The laptops can be configured with up to 16GB RAM. For the graphics department, HP gives an option to go for up Nvidia’s latest RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics cards.

Apart from the usual specifications, HP has worked on a new cooling system called OMEN Tempest, which includes a 12V fan, three-sided venting and bright design of the chassis. To ensure sustained peak performance, HP is using Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut, which essentially means the processor is kept cool by a layer of the liquid metal compound. This ensures that thermal management is done well. The use of this technology has led HP to reduce the overall thickness of the laptop to 20mm than its previous generation.

The HP OMEN X 2S also has another trick up its sleeve. It comes with a dual screen setup that HP says will help gamers multitask on the move. The secondary display sits on the keyboard deck and measures 6-inches. Users can interact with it directly as it has a touchscreen interface with 1080p resolution. HP says players can use the second screen to display certain elements of the game to have a better focus on the action. Also, for those gamers who like multitasking, the OMEN X 2S’s secondary display will allow players to use it for texting on WhatsApp, watch YouTube videos, listen to music, and so on. The HP OMEN 15 starts from Rs 1,24,990 whereas the OMEN X 2S for Rs 2,09,990.

HP has also launched a couple of gaming accessories. The OMEN Photon wireless mouse costs Rs 8,499 and comes with 11 customizable buttons, Qi-wireless charging and up to 50 hours of battery life. The OMEN Outpost Mousepad with wireless charging capability is available for Rs 7,999. The Pavilion Gaming Headset 400 and Headset 300 are available for Rs 1,999 and Rs 1,799.
