T-Mobile service is down right now for many customers

T-Mobile customers across the U.S. said they couldn’t make calls or ship text messages following an outage.

We tested with a T-Mobile smartphone in the office. Both calls to and from the T-Mobile phone failed. When we attempted to ship a textual content message, it said the message could not be sent. Access to cellular statistics appeared to be unaffected.

The outage began around 6 pm ET.

Users took to social media to complain about the outage. Users across the U.S. Said they had been affected. A T-Mobile aid account stated the mobile large “engaged our engineers and are working on a resolution.”

In a tweet two hours into the outage, chief govt John Legere acknowledged the organization was struggling to get returned online but cited that the employer had “already started to look symptoms of recuperation.”

By 10:34 pm ET, the problem has been resolved, tweeted T-Mobile leader technology officer Neville Ray, without saying what brought about the four-hour-long outage.

T-Mobile is the third-largest cellular service after Verizon and AT&T. The employer had its proposed $26.5 billion mergers with Sprint accepted through the Federal Communications Commission, despite a move of nation attorneys general lining up to block the deal.
